Repeat Prescriptionsmedication7

Repeat prescriptions will be issued at the doctor’s discretion and are normally for patients on long-term treatment. When you need a repeat prescription there are a number of ways to place an order:

  • In person - drop your repeat slip off at reception having clearly marked the items required.
  • By post - send it to us with a stamped addressed envelope if you want us to post it back to you.
  • By telephone - call the prescription answerphone line.
  • Online - follow the link at the top of this page to complete a simple registration.

Chemist Delivery Service

There is also a delivery service for our housebound patients by the local chemist - please ask reception staff for details.

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip. Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
